A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occured not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3)
On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-
make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch is released (OFF legend is on),
-
make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (ON legend is off),
-
make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system, is in position.
(4)
On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
-make sure that the warning notice to tell the persons not to start the engine 1(2), is in position.
(5)
On the HP ground connector:
-make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system, is in position.
(6)
On the maintenance panel 50VU:
-
make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off,
-
make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2), is in position.
(7)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the engine.

4. Procedure

A. Installation of the HP Bleed Override Solenoid
(1)
Install a new seal (5) to the HP bleed override solenoid (4).
(2)
Install the HP bleed override solenoid (4) on the support (6).
(3)
Install the three screws (2) and the three washers (1) on the HP bleed override solenoid (4).
(4)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(5)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(6)
Connect the electrical connector (3) to the HP bleed override solenoid (4).
(7)
Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(8)
Connect the sense line (7) to the HP bleed override solenoid (4) and TORQUE the nut to 141.6 lbf.in (1.60 m.daN).

B. Do the opening test of the HP bleed valve from the functional test of the HP bleed valve (Ref. TASK 36-11-51-720-001).

Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Close these access doors :

Remove the access platform(s).
(4)
Remove the warning notice(s).
