-put a warning notice to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.

-put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).

On the HP ground connector:
-Put a warning notice to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
(5)
On the ENG section of the maintenance panel 50VU:
-make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off,
-put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

A. Removal of the Fan Air Valve CAUTION : USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN
_______ YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT THE PNEUMATIC LINES ON UNIONS.
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
(2)
Disconnect the sense lines (12) and (14) from the unions (11) and (13).
(3)
On the clamp (5) lightly torque the self-locking nut (16) while you push the safety catch (19) with your thumb to release the safety catch (19).
(4)
Loosen the self-locking nut (16) and remove the clamp (5).
(5)
Remove the bolts (8) and (9) and the nuts (6) and (7).
(6)
Remove the elbow (10).
(7)
Hold the valve (4). On the clamp (3) lightly torque the self-locking nut (16) while you push the safety catch with your thumb to release the safety catch.
R (8) Loosen the self-locking nut (16) and remove the clamp (3).
(9) Remove the valve (4).
(10)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(11)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends, the valve (4) and the duct ends.
