A. Safety Precautions
WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE FWD AVIONICS ACCESS DOOR 811 IS OPEN. WITH A
_______ WARNING PLACARD ATTACHED TO IT. THE WARNING NOTICE MUST TELL PERSONS NOT TO CLOSE THE DOOR. THIS PREVENTS ACCIDENTAL PRESSURIZATION OF THE AIRCRAFT.
(1)
When you operate the air condioning make sure that the access door 811 is open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
(2)
Install a warning notice on the access door 811 to tell persons not to close the access door 811.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(3)
On the AIR COND overhead panel 225VU:
-release the PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches to off (the OFF legends come on).
-make sure that the X-bleed selector switch is in the AUTO position.

A. Pressurization of the Bleed System with the APU
(1) Start and operate the APU (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-008).
(2) On the AIR COND overhead panel 30VU, push the APU BLEED pushbutton switch to ON (the ON legend comes on).
(3) On the ECAM control panel, push the APU key (the APU page comes into view).
(4) On the AIR BLEED page of the ECAM lower DU, make sure that all indications are shown is normal (i.e. green indication).
(5) When the pressurization of the bleed system is no longer necessary: - on the AIR COND overhead panel 30VU, release the APU BLEED pushbutton switch to off (the ON legend goes off), - shutdown the APU (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-009).
