A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the warning notices are in position:
-
in the cockpit on the Engine Control Panel 115VU to tell persons not to start the engine(s),
-
in the cockpit on the AIR COND Overhead Control Panel 30VU to tell persons not to push in the APU BLEED pushbutton switch,
- on the HP ground connector to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
(2) Make sure that the applicable access panels are removed:
(a)
For the APU bleed-air ducts between FR35 and FR36:
-Make sure that the access panels 191BB and 191EB are removed.
(b)
For the APU bleed-air ducts between FR36 and FR42:
-Make sure that the access panel 191JB is removed.
(c)
For the APU bleed-air ducts between FR42 and FR50:
-Make sure that the access panels 147AB, 147EB, 147FB and 197BB are removed.
(d)
For the APU bleed-air ducts between FR46 and FR70:
-Make sure that the AFT cargo compartment door is open
(Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(e)
For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR46 and FR47:
-Make sure that the partition panel 151BW is removed (Ref. TASK 25-55-11-000-001).
(f)
For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR47 and FR49:
-Make sure that the access panel 151CW is removed.
(g)
For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR49 and FR52:
-Make sure that the access panel 151DW is removed.
(h)
For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR52 and FR55:
-Make sure that the access panel 151EW is removed.
(i)
For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR55 and FR58:
-Make sure that the access panel 151HW is removed.
(j)
For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR58 and FR59:
-Make sure that the access panel 151JW is removed.
(k)
For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR59 and FR62:
-Make sure that the access panel 161AW is removed.
(l)
For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR62 and FR63:
-Make sure that the access panel 161BW is removed.
(m)
For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR63 and FR65:
-Make sure that the access panel 161CW is removed.
(n)
For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR65 and FR70:
-Make sure that the partition panel 161DW is removed (Ref. TASK 25-55-12-000-001).
(o)
For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR70 and FR77:
-Make sure that the access door 312AR is open.

(p) For the APU bleed-air ducts aft of FR77:
-Make sure that the access door 314AR is open.
(3) Make sure that the access platform is in position below the applicable access panel.
