D. Cleaning
WARNING : BEFORE USING XYLENE OR ANY HAZARDOUS MATERIAL, BE AWARE OF ALL

(1)
Remove the blanking caps from the disconnected electrical connectors.
(2)
Apply the CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-022) with a spray gun:
- on the end fittings of the sensing elements, of the cable assemblies and of all other connectors,
-into the receptacles of the connectors, where necessary, to clean them.
NOTE : Do not use probes, swabs or any other instruments to examine
____ the ends of the connectors when you clean them.
(3)
Rinse all parts of the sensing elements.
(4)
Dry: WARNING : DO NOT EXCEED 30PSIG (2,1KG/CM2) OF PRESSURE AT THE NOZZLE
_______ WHEN USING COMPRESSED AIR OR NITROGEN IN THIS CLEANING PROCESS. ALSO WEAR STURDY GOGGLES OR A FACE SHIELD. PARTICLES OR LIQUID DROPLETS PROPELLED BY HIGH PRESURE CAN CAUSE PERMANENT EYE INJURY.
(a) Dry all the components with a compressed air or nitrogen source 25 to 30 psi (1.75 to 2.1 bar) at a pressure of not more than 30 psi (2.1 bar).
(5) Install the blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Overheat Sensing Element
(1)
Install the four grommets (14) on the sensing element (12).
(2)
Install the sensing element (12) with the grommets (14) on the support (11).
(3)
Put the grommets (14) in the correct position in the clamps (13).
(4)
Lock the clamps (13) with the bolts (15).
(5)
Remove the blanking caps from the disconnected electrical connectors.
(6)
Install the nuts (3) and (7) on the sensing elements (12) and tighten the nuts. Safety the nuts with the corrosion resistant steel lockwire
0.8 mm.
(7)
Install the support (11) with the sensing element (12) in its housing on the bulkhead (18).
(8)
Install the screws (2), (5) and (9) and the washers (1), (6) and (10). Tighten the screws.

(9) Connect the electrical connectors (4) and (8) and safety with the corrosion resistant steel lockwire 0.8 mm dia.. TORQUE the electrical connectors to between 0.58 and 0.69 m.daN (51.32 and 61.06 lbf.in).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): FOR 1HF1 2HA1, 3HA1 FOR 1HF2 2HA2, 3HA2

(4)
Remove the access platform(s).
