-Make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2) is in position.
(5)
On the HP ground connector:
-Make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system is in position.
(4)
Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(6) On the ENG section of the maintenance panel 50VU: - Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off. - Make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2) is in position.
(7) Make sure that the access platform is in position below the engine.

4. Procedure_________
R (Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 36-11-55-991-001-A)
R Subtask 36-11-55-420-051-A
R A. Installation of the Bleed-Pressure-Regulator Valve Control-Solenoid
R R CAUTION : USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN_______ YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT THE PNEUMATIC LINES ON UNIONS.
R (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
R (2) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
R (3) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(5) Install a new O-ring (5) on the solenoid (8).
(6) Install the solenoid (8) on its support (6).
(7) Install the bolts (3) and (10) and the nuts (4) and (7) and then tighten them.
(8) Do these steps to connect the sense lines (1) and (2).
(a) Make sure that the sense lines (1) and (2) and the unions (12) and (13) are serviceable.
(b) Remove the blanking plugs from the unions (12) and (13).
(c) Clean the threads of the unions (12) and (13).
R (d) Apply a thin layer of LUBRICANTS (Material No. 06-006) to the threads of the unions (12) and (13).
R R R NOTE : Do not apply a large quantity of LUBRICANTS (Material No.____ 06-006) to the threads of the unions (12) and (13). Too much LUBRICANTS (Material No. 06-006) can cause pollution of the pneumatic system.
(e) Remove the blanking plugs from the sense lines (1) and (2).
(f) Connect the sense lines (1) and (2) to the unions (12) and (13).
(9) Do this step to TORQUE the sense lines (1) and (2) (Ref. TASK 20-21-12-911-001):
CAUTION : USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION_______ WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT THE PNEUMATIC LINES ON UNIONS.
(a) TORQUE the sense lines (1) and (2) to between 1.52 and 1.63 m.daN (11.20 and 12.02 lbf.ft).
(10) Safety the sense lines (1) and (2) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-018).
(11) Connect the connector (9) to the solenoid (8).
(12) Make sure that all the couplings are correctly tightened.
Subtask 36-11-55-720-050
B. Do this test
(1)
Do the functional test of the bleed-pressure-regulator valve control-solenoid (Ref. TASK 36-11-55-720-001).
(2)
Remove the warning notice from the HP ground connector.
(3)
Connect an air source to the HP ground connector.
(4)
On the AIR COND panel 30VU, set the X BLEED selector to OPEN.
(5)
Supply a stable pressure of 30 psi (2.0684 bar) to the HP ground connector.
(6)
Make sure that there are no leaks at the junction between the bleed-pressure-regulator valve control-solenoid and the duct on the related engine.
(7)
Disconnect the air source from the HP ground connector.
5. Close-up
________ Subtask 36-11-55-865-052
