 (2) Connect the TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED SYSTEM (98D36003000000) or equivalent to the bleed pressure regulator valve.
 (3) On the bleed pressure regulator valve, disconnect the sense line from the bleed pressure regulator valve control solenoid (10HA1), and put a blanking plug on the bleed valve and on the disconnected line end.
 4. Procedure_________

R R  A. Leak Test of the Bleed Pressure Regulator Valve with the APU in Operation on Ground 
R R R R R R  (1) Start the APU to pressurize the pneumatic system: - GTCP 36-300 (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-003) or - APS 3200 (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-005) or - 131-9(A) (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-008). 
R R  (2) On the lower ECAM DU, push the BLEED key (on the lower ECAM DU, the BLEED page comes into view). 
R R R R  (3) On the lower ECAM DU, on the BLEED page: - make sure that the related bleed pressure regulator valve is shown closed - record the values of the engine bleed pressure.

R  1. On the test set: 
R  - make sure that the systems No. 
R  1, 2 and 3 are not pressurized 
R  - open the shutoff valve of the

R  4. Make sure that there are no leaks 
R  at the junction between the bleed 
R  pressure regulator valve and the 
R  duct on the related engine.

R  - decrease the pressure of the 
R  system No. 1 to O psi. 




R  6. Stop the APU: 
R  - GTCP 36-300 (Ref. TASK 49-00-
R  00-860-004) 
R  or 
R  - APS 3200 (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-
R  860-006) 

On the test set:
-
the pressure gage of the air cylinder shows the pressure.

On the test set:

-
the primary gage shows 200 psi (13.7895 bar).


On the bleed pressure regulator valve:
-
make sure that the visual position indicator shows that the valve is open.

On the lower ECAM DU, on the BLEED page:

-
make sure that the related valve is shown open.


On the bleed pressure regulator valve:
-the visual position indicator shows that the valve is closed.
On the lower ECAM DU, on the BLEED page:
-make sure that the related valve is shown closed.

R 7. Remove the blanking plugs from R the disconnected line ends.
R 8. Remove the blanking plug from the R bleed pressure regulator valve R and connect the sense line from R the bleed pressure regulator R valve control solenoid (10HA1).
R 9. On the test set: On the bleed pressure regulator valve: R - slowly pressurize the system - make sure that the visual position R No. 1 to 20 psi (1.3789 bar). indicator shows that the valve is R open. R If the valve is not in the open R postion, make sure that there are no R leaks at the sense line from the R control solenoid (10HA1).

 A. Removal of the Tool
 (1)
 Disconnect the TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED SYSTEM (98D36003000000) or equivalent from the test port of the bleed pressure regulator valve.

 Put the blanking plug on the test port of the bleed pressure regulator valve.
