A. Inspection of the APU Bleed Check-Valve
R R R R R (1) Make sure that the APU Bleed Check-Valve is complete. If parts are missing (flaps, shaft and/or spring): - Do an inspection of the APU bleed-air system and the air conditioning system to find this (these) parts before you install a new APU Bleed Check-Valve.
R (2) Examine the APU Bleed Check-Valve for damage.
R (3) Make sure that the flaps open and close freely without stops.
R (4) Measure the play between the valve flaps and the hinge pin in the radial direction.
R (5) Make sure that the play is not more than 0.030 in. (0.7619 mm).
R (6) If the play is more than 0.030 in. (0.7619 mm), replace the APU Bleed Check-Valve.
