Subtask 36-11-54-420-053-A
A. Installation of the Fan Air Valve CAUTION : USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN
_______ YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT THE PNEUMATIC LINES ON UNIONS.
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(4)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(5)
Remove the blanking plugs from the sense line ends, the valve (4) and the duct ends.
(6)
Install the valve (4) on the pneumatic duct (2). To do this put the control mechanism in position at the front.

(7)
Make sure that the clamp (3) is clean and in the correct condition.
(8)
Install the clamp (3).
(9)
Make sure that the flanges are correctly aligned and with no unwanted stress. Move the clamp (3) around the flanges and install the tee bolt (16) in the trunnion (19). Do not tighten at this time.
(10)
Turn the valve (4) to make sure that the sense line (14) and the electrical connector (1) are correctly connected.
(11)
Make sure that the clamp (5) is clean and in the correct condition.
(12)
Install the clamp (5).
(13)
Make sure that the flanges are correctly aligned and with no unwanted stress. Move the clamp (5) around the flanges and install the tee bolt (16) in the trunnion (19) Do not tighten at this time.

(14)
Install the elbow (10).
(15)
Install the bolts (8) and (9) with the nuts (6) and (7) and tighten.
(16)
Do these steps to connect the sense lines (12) and (14):
(a)
Make sure that the sense lines (12) and (14) and the unions (11) and (13) are serviceable.
(b)
Remove the blanking plugs from the unions (11) and (13).
(c)
Clean the threads of the unions (11) and (13).
(d)
Apply a thin layer of LUBRICANTS (Material No. 06-006) to the threads of the unions (11) and (13).
NOTE : Do not apply a large quantity of LUBRICANTS (Material No.
____ 06-006) to the threads of the unions (11) and (13). Too much LUBRICANTS (Material No. 06-006) can cause pollution of the pneumatic system.
(e)
Remove the blanking plugs from the senses line (12) and (14).
(f)
Connect the sense lines (12) and (14) to the unions (11) and (13).
(17) Do these steps to TORQUE the sense lines (12) and (14) (Ref. TASK 20-21-12-911-001):
CAUTION : USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION
_______ WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT THE PNEUMATIC LINES ON UNIONS.
(a)
TORQUE the sense lines (12) and (14) to between 1.52 and 1.63 m.daN (11.20 and 12.02 lbf.ft).
(b)
Safety the sense lines (12) and (14) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-018).
(18)
On the clamps (3) and (5) torque the self-locking nuts (18) to 50 % of the final torque value. Make sure that the tee bolt (16) and the safety catch (17) are correctly installed.
(19)
Use a mallet to lightly tap on and around the top surface of the clamps (3) and (5).
R 1EFF : 001-003, 051-054, 1 36-11-54Page 416 1 1 May 01/05 1 1 1CES 1
(20) TORQUE the clamps (3) and (5) to between 50 and 70 lbf.in (0.56 and
0.79 m.daN).
NOTE : Make sure that when locked, the clearance between the safety
____ catch (17) and the top surface of the clamps (3) and (5) is not more than 4.75 mm (0.1870 in.). Make sure that non-threaded part of the tee bolt (16) engages in the trunnion (19) by more than 5 mm (0.1968 in.). If there is one of the two conditions, discard the clamp. 中国航空网 www.aero.cn 航空翻译 www.aviation.cn 本文链接地址:A320飞机维护手册 AMM PNEUMATIC 气源 2(38)
