A. Energize the aircraft electrical circuits

B. Safety Precautions
(1)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occured not less than 5 minutes.
(2)
On the ENG panel 115VU:
-put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.
(3)
On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch is released
(OFF Legend is on), R - make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON R legend is off),
-put a warning notice to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.
(4)
On the HP ground connector:
-put a warning notice to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
(5)
On the MAINTENANCE panel 50VU:
-make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
-put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC system 1(2).

A. Cleaning of the Outer Side of Connectors
WARNING : CLEANING SOLVENTS ARE FLAMMABLE, VOLATILE, TOXIC. THEY SHOULD
_______ BE USED WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION. AVOID PROLONGED BREATHING OF VAPORS AND REPEATED OR PROLONGED CONTACT WITH THE SKIN, OR CLOTHING.
CAUTION : USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED MATERIALS AND OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM
_______ THE MANUFACTURERS. OTHER MATERIALS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE PROTECTION OF THE COMPONENTS AND THE RELATED AREA.
(1)
Loosen the bolts (15) and open the clamps (13).
(2)
Remove all the collected oil, grease and dirt from the outer side of each connector. To do this, use a soft bristle brush with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-002). Dry with a clean cloth.

B. Removal of the Overheat Sensing Element
(1)
Cut and remove the lockwire from the electrical connectors (4) and (8).
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connectors (4) and (8).
