A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the electrical circuit is energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) is shut down for at least 5 minutes.
(3)
On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-
make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch is released (OFF legend is on),
-
make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (ON legend is off),

-make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system, is in position.
(4)
On the ENG panel 115VU:
-make sure that the warning notice to tell the persons not to start the engine 1(2), is in position.
(5)
On the HP ground connector:
-make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system, is in position.
(6)
On the MAINTENANCE panel 50VU:
-
make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off,
-
make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2) is in position.
(7)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the engine.

D. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged
WARNING : OPEN CIRCUIT BREAKERS 1JH, 2JH1, 2JH2, 3JH1 AND 3JH2 (ENGINE 1
_______ AND 2 IGNITION SYSTEMS). THEN OPEN CIRCUIT BREAKERS 2KS1 AND 2KS2 (FADEC A AND EIU 1 AND 2) AND 4KS1 (FADEC B AND EIU 1). IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS SEQUENCE, THE ENGINE AUTOMATIC IGNITION- SYSTEM WILL OPERATE. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL.
CAUTION : YOU MUST OPEN THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS FOR THE PITOT PROBE BEFORE
_______ THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS FOR THE ENGINE INTERFACE UNIT (EIU). IF YOU DO NOT, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE PITOT PROBES.
