On the AIR COND overhead panel 225VU:
-release the PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches to off (the OFF legends come on).
-make sure that the X-bleed selector switch is in the AUTO position.
(2)
Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
(3)
De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(4)
If the access door 811 is open:
-Remove the warning notice(s).
-Close the access door 811 (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-002).

(1) When you operate the air condioning make sure that the access door 811 is open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-002).

(2) Install a warning notice on the access door 811 to tell persons not to close the access door 811.

Energize the aircraft electrical circuits

(2)
Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(3)
On the AIR COND overhead panel 225VU:
-release the PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches to off (the OFF legends come on).

Connect the ground air-supply unit to the aircraft HP connector 7300HM.

4. Procedure

A. Pressurization of the Bleed System through the HP Ground Connection
(1)
Start the ground air-supply unit and make sure that:
-
the airflow is between 54 kg.min (119.0495 lb.min) and 78 kg.min (171.9605 lb.min),
-
the supplied air pressure is not more than 3.5 bar (50.7631 psi),
-
the supplied air temperature does not go above 260 deg.C (500.00 deg.F).
(2)
On the ECAM control panel, push the BLEED key (the BLEED page comes into view).
(3)
On the AIR BLEED page of the ECAM lower DU, make sure that all indications are shown is normal (i.e. green indication).
(4)
When the pressurization of the bleed system is no longer necessary, stop the air supply.
