B. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the engine 1(2) is shut down for at least 5 minutes.
(2) On the AIR COND panel 30VU: - make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch is released (OFF legend is on), - make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (ON legend is off), - put a warning notice to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.
(3) On the ENG panel 115VU: - put a warning notice to tell the persons not to start the engine 1(2).
(4) On the HP ground connector: - put a warning notice to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
(5) On the MAINTENANCE panel 50VU: - make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off, - put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

C. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged
R R R R R R R WARNING : OPEN CIRCUIT BREAKERS 1JH, 2JH1, 2JH2, 3JH1 AND 3JH2 (ENGINE 1_______ AND 2 IGNITION SYSTEMS). THEN OPEN CIRCUIT BREAKERS 2KS1 AND 2KS2 (FADEC A AND EIU 1 AND 2) AND 4KS1 (FADEC B AND EIU 1). IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS SEQUENCE, THE ENGINE AUTOMATIC IGNITION- SYSTEM WILL OPERATE. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL.
CAUTION : YOU MUST OPEN THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS FOR THE PITOT PROBE BEFORE_______ THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS FOR THE ENGINE INTERFACE UNIT (EIU). IF YOU DO NOT, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE PITOT PROBES.

A. Removal of the High Pressure (HP) Bleed Valve
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connectors (4000HA-A) from the HP bleed valve (25).
(2)
Disconnect the HP sense tube from the HP bleed valve (25).
(3)
Remove the coupling (15) and the E-seal (20) that attach the HP bleed valve (25) to the mid stage tee duct (5).
(4)
Remove the coupling (15) and the seal (20) that attach the HP bleed valve (25) to the HP tee duct (10).
(5)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(6)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(7)
Remove the HP bleed valve (25) from the engine.
