A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3)
On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-
make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the OFF legend is on),
-
make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off),
-
make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system is in position.
(4)
On the ENG panel 115VU:
-make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2) is in position.
(5)
On the HP ground connector:
-make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system is in position.
(6)
On the ENG section of the maintenance panel 50VU:
-
make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off,
-
make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2) is in position.
(7)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the engine.

4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Duct Assy
(Ref. Fig. 408/TASK 36-11-49-991-307)
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Remove the protective covers from the duct assy (3) and the ducts.
(4)
Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(5)
Install the duct assy (3). NOTE : The arrow which shows the direction of the flow of air points

up.
(6)
Install the clamps (2) CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE SCREWS OF THE ATTACHMENT CLAMPS ON THE
