(2) Install the rig pin [16] through the cam follower arm [15] and valve cam [14].

(3) Remove the control valve assembly [1]:
CAUTION: DO NOT LET HYDRAULIC FLUID GET ON EQUIPMENT. IF HYDRAULIC FLUID
GETS ON EQUIPMENT, IMMEDIATELY CLEAN IT FROM THE EQUIPMENT.
HYDRAULIC FLUID CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Put a 5 gallon (19 liter) container, STD-1154 below the control valve assembly [1] to catch
hydraulic fluid.
(b) Disconnect the hydraulic lines [3] from the control valve assembly [1].
1) Install caps on the hydraulic lines [3].
2) Install plugs in the hydraulic ports of the control valve assembly [1].
(c) Remove the nut [13], washer [12] and bolt [11] that attach the control valve assembly [1] to
the leading edge cam link [17].
(d) Remove the bolts [9] and washers [10] that attach the control valve assembly [1] to the flap
control unit [6].
(e) Carefully remove the control valve assembly [1] from the flap control unit [6].

SUBTASK 27-81-81-420-001
(1) If they are not installed, install the packings [4], reducers [2] and reducer [5] in the ports of the
control valve assembly [1].
(a) Apply fluid, D00153 or MCS 352B fluid, D00054 to the new packings [4].
(b) Put the packings [4], reducer [2] and reducer [5] in their location on the control valve
assembly [1].

(2) Install the control valve assembly [1] in the flap control unit [6]:
(a) Carefully put the control valve assembly [1] on the flap control unit [6].
(b) Apply compound, C00913 to the shank and threads of the bolts [9].
(c) Install the bolts [9] and washers [10] to attach the control valve assembly [1] to the flap
control unit [6].
(d) Install lockwire on the bolts [9].
(e) Connect the control valve assembly [1] to the leading edge cam link [17] with the bolt [11],
washer [12] and nut [13].
(f) Connect the hydraulic lines [3] to the control valve assembly [1].
1) Remove the caps from the hydraulic lines [3].
