1. General
A. This procedure has these tasks:
(1) A functional test of the ground spoiler interlock valve (jacking method).
(2) A functional test of the ground spoiler interlock valve (rigging tool method).
(3) A functional test of the ground spoiler interlock valve proximity sensor (S1050).
(4) A functional test of the ground spoiler interlock valve pressure switch (S1049).
(5) In this procedure the ground spoiler interlock valve is referred to as the "valve".

C. Prepare for the Test

(1) Lift the airplane with the jacks until the right main gear strut is fully extended. To lift, do this task:

(2) Do this task: Supply Electrical Power, TASK 24-22-00-860-811.
SUBTASK 27-62-61-860-018
(3) Do this task: Speed Brake Hydraulic Systems A and B Pressurization,
TASK 27-62-00-800-801.
D. Ground Spoiler Interlock Valve Functional Test
SUBTASK 27-62-61-860-019
(1) Move the speed brake lever to the UP position.
(a) Make sure the ground spoilers do not move.

(2) Deflate the shock strut for the right main landing gear. To deflate, do this task: Main Landing
Gear Shock Strut Servicing, TASK 12-15-31-610-802.

(3) Slowly lift the right main gear axle to compress the right main gear shock strut until the ground
spoiler interlock valve [1] opens.
(a) Make sure the ground spoilers move to the fully extended position.
(b) Make sure the inner cylinder of the right main gear shock strut moved 1.5 +1.5/-0.0 inches
(38.1 +38.1/-0.0 millimeters) from the fully extended position.

(4) Move the speed brake lever to the DOWN position.
(a) Make sure the ground spoilers retract.

(5) Slowly lower the right main gear axle to extend the right main gear shock strut.

(6) Inflate the shock strut for the right main landing gear. To inflate, do this task: Main Landing Gear

E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(1) Do this task: Put the Speed Brake Hydraulic systems A and B Back to the Condition Before
the Pressurization, TASK 27-62-00-840-801.

(2) Lower the airplane off the jacks. To lower, do this task: Lower the Airplane Off the Jacks,
