(2) Make sure the AUTOSLAT FAIL light on the overhead panel P5-3 is off.

(3) Push and release the AUTOSLAT FAIL light switch.
(a) Make sure the AUTOSLAT FAIL light comes on when the light switch is pushed then goes
off when released.

(4) Put the LIGHTS switch in the TEST position. Make sure these lights come on:
NOTE: See (Figure 501) for the location of the lights and switch.
(a) The MASTER CAUTION lights.
(b) The FLT CONT light.
(c) The AUTOSLAT FAIL light.

(5) Put the LIGHTS switch in the BRT position.

(6) Push the MASTER CAUTION light switch. Make sure these lights go off:
(a) The MASTER CAUTION lights.
(b) The FLT CONT light.
(c) The AUTOSLAT FAIL light.

(7) Push the master caution annunciator panel.
(a) Make sure the AUTOSLAT FAIL light stays off.

(8) Make sure the autoslat fault display works properly when autoslat 1 is disabled:
(a) Open this circuit breaker and install safety tag:

(b) Push the master caution annunciator panel. Make sure these lights come on:
1) The MASTER CAUTION lights.
2) The FLT CONT light.

(c) Push the MASTER CAUTION switch light. Make sure these lights go off:
1) The MASTER CAUTION lights.
2) The FLT CONT light.
3) The AUTOSLAT FAIL light.

(9) Make sure the autoslat fault display works properly when autoslat 1 and 2 are disabled:
(a) Open this circuit breaker and install safety tag:

3) The AUTOSLAT FAIL light.
(c) Push the MASTER CAUTION light switch. Make sure these actions occur:
1) The MASTER CAUTION lights go off.
2) The FLT CONT light goes off.
3) The AUTOSLAT FAIL light stays on.

(10) Make sure the autoslat fault display works properly when autoslat 2 is disabled:
(a) Remove the safety tag and close this circuit breaker:

(b) Make sure the AUTOSLAT FAIL light goes off.
(c) Push the master caution annunciator panel. Make sure these lights come on:

3) The AUTOSLAT FAIL light.
(d) Push the MASTER CAUTION light switch. Make sure these lights go off:
1) The MASTER CAUTION lights.
2) The FLT CONT light.
3) The AUTOSLAT FAIL light.

(11) Remove the safety tag and close this circuit breaker:

E. Return the airplane to its normal condition.
