F. Leading Edge Flap Installation
SUBTASK 27-81-11-220-005
(1) If you install used bearings, bushings and bolts, do this task: Leading Edge Flap Inspection,
TASK 27-81-11-200-801.
SUBTASK 27-81-11-420-001
(2) If you removed the outboard Leading edge flap [2], connect the outboard Leading edge flap [2] to
the fixed leading edge:
(a) Connect hinges 1 thru 4 on the Leading edge flap [2] to the fixed leading edge.
1) Apply grease, D00633 on the mating surfaces of the bolts [23] and bolts [27].
2) At hinges 1 and 4, install the bolts [23], washers [24], bushings [19], washers [20] and
nuts [22].
NOTE: Install the bolts [23] with the head outboard.
3) Tighten the nuts [22] to 60-95 pound-inches (6.8-10.7 newton-meters).
4) Install the pin [21].
5) At hinges 2 and 3, install the bolts [27], washers [28], bushings [26], washers [25] and
