(1) Open this circuit breaker and install safety tag:

SUBTASK 27-62-32-020-001
(1) Remove screws [1] and washers [2] and the cover plate [3] on the control stand to get access to
the RTO switch [13].
(a) Remove the screw [9] and screw [10] that attach the RTO switch [13] to the structure.

(2) Remove the screws [6] and washers [7] to disconnect the electrical wires [8] from the RTO
switch [13].

(1) Install the RTO switch [13]:
(a) Put the RTO switch [13] in its position on the structure.
(b) Connect the electrical wires [8] to the RTO switch [13].
(c) Install the screw [9] and screw [10] that attach the RTO switch [13].

SUBTASK 27-62-32-820-003
(1) Adjust the RTO switch [13]:
(a) Make sure the thrust levers are at idle and the reverse thrust levers are down and stowed.

(b) Make sure the speed brake lever is in the DOWN position.
(c) Disconnect the electrical wires [8] from the RTO switch [13].
(d) Loosen screw [9] and screw [10].
(e) Turn the RTO switch [13] as far aft as possible.
(f) Make sure there is no continuity between pin 8 and 9 of the D5148J connector.
(g) Move the left reverse thrust lever aft until there is a 0.0400 to 0.0600 inch (1.0160 to 1.5240
millimeters) clearance between the speed brake lever dog [4] and the detent plate
assembly lip [5].
(h) Turn the RTO switch [13] until the roller [11] touches the actuator arm [12] and there is
continuity between pins 8 and 9 of the D5148J connector.
(i) Tighten the screw [9] and screw [10].
(j) Slowly move the left thrust lever back to the down and stowed position.
