SUBTASK 27-81-61-420-001
(1) Do these steps if you install the two fuse assemblies [2] in system B:
(a) Hold thetwo fuse assemblies [2] in its position.
NOTE: The flow direction arrow on thetwo fuse assemblies [2] must agree with the arrow
on the pressure bulkhead.
(b) Tighten the nuts [1] and [3] to connect the hydraulic tubes to the two fuse assemblies [2].

(2) Do these steps if you install thefuse assembly [5] in the standby system:
(a) Install the fuse assembly [5] to the valve [4].
1) Install a new O-ring packing [8] between thefuse assembly [5] and the valve [4].
(b) Hold thefuse assembly [5] and the valve [4] in their position.
NOTE: The flow direction arrow on thefuse assembly [5] and the valve [4] must agree
with the arrow on the pressure bulkhead.
(c) Tighten the nuts [6] and [7] to connect hydraulic tubes to thefuse assembly [5] and the
valve [4].

(3) To pressurize the hydraulic systems B, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Pressurization,
TASK 29-11-00-860-801.
(a) If you replaced the fuse assembly [2], you will need to pressurize the hydraulic system B.
(b) If you replaced the fuse assembly [5], you will need to pressurize the standby hydraulic
system.

SUBTASK 27-81-61-860-004
(1) Do these steps to reset the hydraulic fuses for system B:
(a) Make sure the flap control lever is in the UP position.
(b) Make sure there is no power on hydraulic system B. If it is necessary to remove power
from hydraulic system B, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Power Removal,
TASK 29-11-00-860-805.
(c) Between the hydraulic fuse and the check valve upstream, loosen the B-nut sufficiently to
bleed off the hydraulic fluid into a 5 gallon (19 liter) container, STD-1154.
NOTE: The pressure difference across the hydraulic fuse must be 5 psi (34.5 kPa) for a
minimum of 5 seconds to put the hydraulic fuse back to the open position.
(d) Tighten the B-nut after you put the hydraulic fuse back to the open position.

(e) To pressurize the hydraulic system B, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B
Pressurization, TASK 29-11-00-860-801.
(f) Do a check of the hydraulic fuse [2] for hydraulic leaks.
(g) To remove power from hydraulic system B, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Power
