GROUND SPOILER INTERLOCK VALVE CABLE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. General
A. This procedure has these tasks:
(1) A removal of the lower slider
(2) An installation of the lower slider
(3) A removal of the ground spoiler interlock valve cable
(4) An installation of the ground spoiler interlock valve cable
B. In this procedure the ground spoiler interlock valve cable is referred to as the "cable".

2. Lower Slider Removal

C. Prepare for the Removal
SUBTASK 27-62-51-860-003
(1) Make sure the hydraulic pressure is removed from system A. To remove it, do this task:
Remove Pressure from the Speed Brake Hydraulic Systems A and B,
TASK 27-62-00-800-802.
D. Lower Slider Removal
SUBTASK 27-62-51-020-004
(1) Remove the lower slider assembly [6] from the cable [1]:
(a) Remove the lockwires.
(b) Remove the nut [5], washer [4], washer [3], and bolt [2] which connect the lower slider
assembly [6] to the landing gear.
(c) Turn the sleeve [7] on the lower slider assembly [6] until it is loose and slide it down so that
you can get access to the quick disconnect.
(d) Disconnect the lower slider assembly [6] from the cable [1] at the quick disconnect.
(e) Remove the lower slider assembly [6] from the airplane.
