4. Speed Brake Lever Position Sensor Adjustment

(1) To get access to the sensor [1].
If necessary, open this access panel:

(2) Install the box, angle position indicator, COM-1688:
(a) Connect the box, angle position indicator, COM-1688 connector to the sensor [1].
(b) Connect the input jack on the box, angle position indicator, COM-1688 to 26v dc power.

(3) Install the rig pin S/B-1 from the test set rig pin kit, SPL-1585 in the forward drum of the speed
brake mechanism.

(4) Adjust the sensor [1]:
(a) Loosen the clamping bolts [5].
(b) Turn the sensor until the indication on the angle position indicator, COM-1688 is 0.00 +/-
0.25 degrees.
(c) Tighten the clamping bolts [5].

(d) Make sure the indication on the angle position indicator, COM-1688 is 0.00 +/-0.25
degrees.
