(11) Tighten the jam nut [82] on the auxiliary track aft support.
(a) Finger tight until the jam nut [82] touches the support shaft and tighten an additional quarter
turn.

(12) Tighen the upper aft aux track locking bolt [91] to 130-200 pound-inches (14.7-22.6 newtonmeters).

(13) Tighten the nut [74] on the auxiliary track forward support to 260-425 pound-inches (29.4-48.0
newton-meters).

(14) Tighten the nuts [84] on the cam plate to 65-100 pound-inches (7.3-11.3 newton-meters) or the
cam plate bolts [90] 90-110 pound-inches (10.2-12.4 newton-meters).
NOTE: The recommended method is to tighten the nuts; the optional method is to tighten the
bolts.

(15) Install lockwire, G01048 between the holes in the shim [77] of the auxiliary track forward support.

(16) Install lockwire, G01048 on the preload adjustment bolt [73] on the detent arm [78].
I. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

WARNING: MAKE SURE PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS
AND SLATS AND THE TRAILING EDGE FLAPS. THE FLAPS AND SLATS CAN MOVE
QUICKLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Do this task: Leading Edge Flaps and Slats Retraction, TASK 27-81-00-860-804.

(2) Install the applicable access panels:
NOTE: At the main track locations, the clearance between the access panel and the flex tab
must be 0.1000 -0.0400/+0.0800 inch (2.54 -1.02/+2.03 millimeters).
