(3) Remove the rig pin or tool, SPL-1746 from the manual override lever on the LE cruise
depressurization valve (Figure 201).
(a) Make sure the manual override lever moves from the OFF position to the ON position.
(b) Install lockwire on the manual override lever.

(4) Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tags from the flap control lever and the ALTERNATE FLAPS
switches.

F. Reactivate the Leading Edge Flaps and Slats In the Full Extend Position

WARNING: MAKE SURE TO INSTALL THE LEADING EDGE FLAP AND SLAT ACTUATORS
LOCKOUT SET TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL OPERATION OF THE LEADING EDGE
FLAPS AND SLATS. THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS CAN MOVE QUICKLY.
THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Remove the lockout set, SPL-1734 from the extended actuators of the leading edge flaps and
slats. To remove the locks, do this task: Leading Edge Flap and Slat Locks Removal,
TASK 27-81-00-080-801.
G. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

WARNING: MAKE SURE ALL PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE FLIGHT CONTROL
SURFACES, THE THRUST REVERSERS, AND THE LANDING GEAR. THESE
COMPONENTS CAN MOVE SUDDENLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER.
THIS CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) To pressurize hydraulic system B, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Pressurization,

WARNING: MAKE SURE ALL PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR FROM THE LEADING
EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS, AND THE TRAILING EDGE FLAPS. THESE SURFACES WILL
MOVE AND CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE INBOARD FAN DUCT COWL AND THE INBOARD AND OUTBOARD
THRUST REVERSERS ARE CLOSED OR REMOVED BEFORE YOU EXTEND THE
LEADING EDGE FLAPS AND SLATS. THERE IS NOT SUFFICIENT CLEARANCE FOR
THE FLAPS AND SLATS TO EXTEND IF THE INBOARD FAN DUCT COWL AND THE
INBOARD AND OUTBOARD THRUST REVERSERS ARE IN THE OPEN POSITION. THIS
CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Move the flap control lever to the applicable detent position (Table 201).
