 If both messages appear, placard the REV ISLN light inop. If both messages do not appear, lock the reverser for which the message did not appear in the forward thrust position per MEL Item 78-31-1.
3. If the REV ISLN light is now OFF but has been ON during the previous flight cycle, refer to FIM 71-FAULT CODE DIAGRAM.
 
OPERATIONS (O)
Without the REV ISLN light to warn that one or both isolation valves are in the wrong (open or closed) position, flight crew should:
 In flight, assume that reversers may be armed; do not move reverser levers.
 Be aware that a subsequent system failure could render a reverser inoperative.

As appropriate - L or R THRUST LEVER INTERLOCK INOP
MAINTENANCE (M)
 Check that forward thrust lever is in idle position and reverse thrust lever is fully forward.
 Open applicable L INTERLOCK T/L or R INTERLOCK T/L circuit breaker on main power distribution panel P6.
 Open applicable T/R CONT/SCAV PRESS - L or T/R CONT/SCAV PRESS - R circuit breaker on overhead circuit breaker panel P11.
 Gain access through the forward equipment bay access door 113AL (AMM 06-41-00/201).
 Disconnect electrical connector from the associated thrust lever interlock actuator and install protective cover.
 Disconnect the actuator by removing bolts attaching actuator rod end to the autothrottle quadrant. Secure actuator rod to autothrottle drive assembly sideframe.
 Operate the associated forward and reverse thrust levers and verify that adequate clearance exists between the disconnected actuator and the thrust lever linkage through the full range of motion.
 Close applicable T/R CONT/SCAV PRESS - L or T/R CONT/SCAV PRESS - R circuit breaker. OPERATIONS (O)
Use normal reversing procedures and techniques. The Electronic Engine Control (EEC) will continue to limit thrust to idle whenever the associated thrust reverser is in transit, independent of thrust lever position.
