    REMARKS OR EXCEPTIONS
(M+P) One FWD (No.1) window outer glass ply may be cracked provided:
 Visibility through the affected
windshield is acceptable to the captain, and vision is not impaired on the
remaining windshield,
 QRH window heat limitations are observed,
 Airspeed is limited to 280 KIAS, or less, below 10,000 feet MSL, and
 Operations are limited to one flight only before repairs are made.

This item applies only to one No.1 window and to cracks or damage to the outer (non-structural) layer. For any other conditions refer to AMM 56-11-00 and 56-11-01.

PLACARD
As appropriate
MAINTENANCE (M)
 Inspect the associated window for cracks and verify that crack(s) is in the outer glass ply only. NOTE: A crack in the outer glass ply may cause associated window heat system to be inoperative.
 Obtain crew acceptance regarding adequate residual vision through the damaged outer glass ply.
 If windshield replacement is required, refer to AMM 56-11-01.

    REMARKS OR EXCEPTIONS
(M) (O) Except for ETOPS operations, one control channel may be inoperative provided:
 Associated thrust reverser is verified to operate normally or is deactivated, and
 Appropriate performance adjustments according to Runway Performance Software (Finscap) for takeoff and to OM-B Volume 3 for landing are applied.

MAINTENANCE (M)
 One EEC channel is considered to be inoperative with any of the following STATUS messages displayed:
L or R ENG PRI CONT L or R ENG SEC CONT L or R ENG SEC SEL
 With two or more of these messages dispatch is not permitted (ENGINE CONTROLS advisory message is displayed if on the ground with both engines running.)
 Dispatch with one channel inoperative is allowed with the following conditions: A. ENG SEC SEL
1) With this message displayed on the ground, position the EEC MAINT CHANNEL SEL switch on the EEC Maintenance Panel (P61) to the AUTO mode. This step may clear the message. If the message remains dispatch is allowed. The primary channel on the affected engine will not be available.
 
NOTE: A loss of the EPR Actual digital value and dial pointer from the EICAS primary display is an indication that the EEC is no longer controlling using the EPR mode
