If left radio altimeter is inoperative, operation of the test switch for the landing configuration warning will show the function to be faulty. However, flap-based monitoring modes of the landing configuration remain operational and can be verified, if desired, as follows:
1. Open circuit breakers:
LANDING GEAR POS SYS 1
LANDING GEAR POS SYS 2
LANDING GEAR POS SYS 2 ALTN
2. With landing flaps extended, all warning indications will be activated.
