Passenger Oxygen System Inoperative:
Plan flight over route with minimum enroute altitude equal to or lower than 14,000 feet.
Maximum flight altitude shall not exceed FL 250.
Prior to flight, the pilot in command shall brief cabin crew on the alternate emergency procedures that will be used.
Automatic Presentation System Inoperative:
Be prepared to deploy passenger masks manually using the PASS OXY switch.
Flight altitude is limited to FL300.

MAINTENANCE (M)
Stow the out-of-service unit in a place where it will not be used by mistake, until it can be removed from the airplane at the next available maintenance base.
Ensure required distribution of serviceable units is maintained throughout the airplane.

REMARKS OR EXCEPTIONS
(M) Except for ETOPS operations beyond 120 minutes, one may be inoperative provided:
PRSOV is closed,
Associated engine BLEED switch remains OFF,
Airplane is not operated in known or forecast icing conditions,
Remaining (opposite) engine bleed system and its associated pack operate normally, and
Airplane remains at or below FL 350.

PLACARD
Pneumatic control panel as appropriate - L(R) PRSOV INOP CLOSED
MAINTENANCE (M)
Notify dispatch. Airplane operation, procedures and flight planning may be affected.
Press BLEED AIR L and R ENG switchlight on pilots overhead P5 panel to OFF. Verify OFF lights come on.
If OFF light does not come on:
1) Open applicable core cowls:
418AR Left
428AR Right
2) Rotate the manual override hex nut on the pressure regulating and shutoff valve clockwise until the poppet valve lever falls into the lock arm assembly notch. The word “LOCKED” should be visible on the valve body beneath the cam. Make sure the poppet valve lever is not in the detent position.
3) Close core cowls.
PRESSURE REGULATING AND SHUTOFF VALVE
OPERATIONS NOTE
1. Do not operate two air conditioning packs with air supplied from a single engine bleed source.
Bleed air isolation valve is normally OFF.
With the isolation valve OFF, and operating with a single bleed air source, wing and engine anti-ice are not available on the affected side.
For left PRSOV inoperative, the left pack may be operated using APU bleed air below 17,000 feet.
