MAINTENANCE (M)
1. Deactivate thrust reverser isolation valve for ground maintenance (AMM 78-31-00/201)
2. Access engine inlet thermal anti-ice valve by opening the access panel on the appropriate engine.
For left engine, open access panel 414AR.
For right engine, open access panel 424AR.
3. Disconnect, cap and stow TAI valve connector.
NOTE: Disconnecting the TAI valve connector will cause the associated engine anti-ice switch-light
to remain illuminated for the duration of flight.
4. Perform the following if desired valve position is closed.
A. Check that vane manual drive indicates valve CLOSED.
