 Associated high stage bleed valve is secured closed,
 A minimum N1 is maintained on associated engine in icing conditions as follows:
70% N1 above 10,000 feet MSL,
60% N1 below 10,000 feet MSL
 Descent, approach and landing are not made in icing conditions within 5,000 feet AGL,
 Remaining (opposite) engine bleed system operates normally, and
 Isolation valve remains closed, except for engine start.

PLACARD
Airplane flight log - INTERMEDIATE PRESSURE CHECK VALVE INOP OPEN Pneumatic control panel as appropriate -L(R) ENG HPSOV INOP CLOSED MAINTENANCE (M)
 Notify dispatch. Flight operations may be affected.
 Lock applicable high stage bleed valve (high pressure shutoff valve) in the closed position per MEL Item 36-11-2 procedure.
 Press ISOLATION switchlight to closed position. Verify that bar light is off and VALVE light comes on and then goes off.
OPERATIONS (O)
1. Maintain a minimum of 70% N1 above 10,000 feet MSL or 60% N1 below 10,000 feet MSL on the affected engine in icing conditions.

Pneumatic control panel - APU BLEED VALVE INOP CLOSED MAINTENANCE (M)
1. Press APU VALVE switchlight on P5 panel to OFF position. Verify the green bar light on the switchlight is not illuminated.
A. If VALVE Light is illuminated, manually close APU valve as follows:
 Open and collar APU BLEED PWR circuit breaker on P11 overhead circuit breaker panel.
 Open controls access door (313BL).
 Manually position the position indicator on APU valve to CLOSE.
 Close controls access door (313BL).
