TURBINE COOLING AIR VALVE ACTUATOR INSTALLATION
3. For a leaking TCA actuator, in addition to steps 1 & 2 above, deactivate the TCA actuator per the following procedure:
A. Remove pressure side flex hose (Fig. 2).
 Remove flex hose 1B7651 and adapter 1A9407 by loosening connections at actuator and hard line tube assembly.
 Remove and discard associated packings MS9967-012 (two places) and MS 9966-07.
B. Remove return side flex hose (Fig. 2).
 
 Remove flex hose 1B7655 and adapter 1B5400 by loosening connections at actuator and hard line tube assembly.
 Remove and discard associated packings MS9966-011, MS9966-012, and MS9966-06.
C. Plug/cap vacated connections on pressure side (Fig. 3).
 Install plug MS9405-07 and new packing MS9966-07 into pressure port of actuator and torque to 150-170 lb-in.
 Install cap assembly 1B8493 and packing MS9967-012 to tube assembly 1B6679-01 and torque to 434-484 lb-in.
D. Plug/cap vacated connections on return side (Fig. 3).
 Install plug MS9405-06 and new packing MS9966-06 into return port of actuator and torque to 110-120 lb-in.
 Install cap assembly 1B8494 and packing MS9967-011 to tube assembly 1B6677-01 and torque to 434-484 lb-in.
