Reservoir Level Verification
Check reservoir level for proper fluid quantity using the fill indicator at the fill station.
Should the reservoir require servicing, refer to AMM 12-12-01, Hydraulic Servicing.
A sight gauge installed on each reservoir may be used to check the reservoir fluid level if the fill indicator at the fill station is inoperative.
Reservoir Pressure Indication Check
1. Reference EICAS maintenance page. RSVR PRESS will indicate LOW, NORM or HIGH for each system.
NOTE: If, after engine start, the L, C, or R HYD RSVR PRES EICAS message illuminates (indicating LOW air pressure) dispatch is not allowed.

PLACARD
Anti-ice control panel as appropriate - L (R) WAI VLV INOP MAINTENANCE (M)
Check that WING ANTI-ICE switch on overhead panel is OFF.
Gain access to wing anti-ice valve through fixed wing lower panel 521AB (left wing) or 621AB (right wing).
WARNING: TAI DUCT MAY BE HOT. ALLOW DUCT TO COOL BEFORE CLOSING VALVE. SEVERE BURNS MAY RESULT.
If valve is not closed, wrench manual drive nut (7/16 inch hex drive) counterclockwise to close valve.
Lift and rotate valve lock 90° clockwise to lock valve closed. A pushbutton on the valve housing allows manual operation. The valve can only be locked in the full closed position.
