Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:

 (a)  
P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
 1) 7G4 HYDRAULICS FLUID QTY

Disconnect the electrical connector from the fill indicator for the reservoir quantity.

Remove the four screws from the fill indicator.

Clean the mating surfaces on the fill indicator for reservoir quantity and the bracket (AMM 20-22-01/601).

 (2)  
Put the fill indicator in the bracket.

 (3)  S 434-026Install the screws to attach the fill indicator to the bracket.
 (4)  S 764-027Measure the resistance between the fill indicator and the bracket.
 NOTE:  This resistance must be less than 0.0025 ohms.

Connect the electrical connector to the fill indicator.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Push the HYD switch on the EICAS Display Select Panel.

Fill or drain the reservoirs until the HYD QTY shown on the EICAS Hydraulic Synoptic Display for each system is approximately 1.00 (AMM 12-12-01/301).

 Do a check of the fill indicator:

 (a)  
Monitor the fill indicator while you put the selector valve to the position for each hydraulic system.

 (b)  
For hydraulic systems No. 2 and No. 3, make sure the indication on the wheel well gage reads "F" (full) and matches the EICAS hydraulic quantity display. Full is equal to 5.5 U.S. Gallons

 (4.6 Imperial Gallons).
 (c)  For hydraulic systems No. 1 and No. 4, make sure the indication on the wheel well gage reads "F" (full) and matches the EICAS hydraulic quantity display. Full is equal to 9.5 U.S. Gallons
