Remove the ground service disconnect from the return module port:
(a)
Remove the lockwire from the ground service disconnect.
(b)
Remove the ground service disconnect from the module port.
(c)
Remove the packings and the backup rings from the ground service disconnect. 1) Discard the packings and the backup ring.

(5) Install a cover on the return module port to prevent contamination.

(1)
Install the ground service disconnect:
(a)
Lubricate the new packings and the backup ring with hydraulic fluid.
(b)
Install the packings and the backup ring on the ground service disconnect.
NOTE: The packing goes into the groove with the backup
____ ring between the packing and the threads.

Remove the cover from the module port.
(d)
Install the ground service disconnect in the module port. 1) Install a lockwire on the ground service disconnect.

Pressurize the hydraulic system with a ground cart
(AMM 29-11-00/201).

Examine the return module for leakage.
(a)
If you find leakage, repair the cause of it.

(4) Release the pressure in the hydraulic system if it is not necessary for other operations (AMM 29-11-00/201).

CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU LATCH THE FAIRING DOORS ON THE TRAILING EDGE
_______ CORRECTLY. DAMAGE CAN OCCUR IF THE DOORS OPEN DURING A FLIGHT.
(5) On systems 1 and 4, close the fairing doors on the trailing edge of the strut (AMM 54-62-00/201).
