Install the HYQUIM (AMM 20-11-22/401).

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a)
P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7G04 HYDRAULICS FLUID QTY
(b)
P414 main power distribution panel.
1) E25 HYD FLUID QTY IND

(3) Do the ground test for the HYQUIM (AMM 29-33-02/501).

HYDRAULIC QUANTITY INTERFACE MODULE (HYQUIM) - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

1. General_______
A. This procedure has one task. This task does a ground test of the hydraulic quantity interface module (referred to as the HYQUIM). No adjustment of the HYQUIM is possible.
B. The HYQUIM is installed in the main equipment center. The HYQUIM is an electronic module installed in the E2 electronics rack.
C. The ground test for the Hydraulic Quantity Interface Module (HYQUIM) commands these conditions to occur:
(1)
The Hydraulic Quantity Interface Module (HYQUIM) to do a self test.
(2)
The test of each of the four hydraulic system quantity transmitters and the wiring interfaces to HYQUIM.
(3)
The test of the remote quantity indicator interface to HYQUIM.
(4)
Momentary blanking of the hydraulic quantity indications from the EICAS displays.
(5)
Momentary illumination of the four hydraulic system SYS FAULT flight deck indication lamps (P5 Panel).
D.
If the HYQUIM self test fails, one of the transmitter tests fails, or the remote quantity indicator test fails, then the ground test fails.

This is a test of the BITE functions of the HYQUIM.
