Clean the bleed hole of the water separator:

 (a)  
Put a wire into the bleed hole.
 NOTE: The wire does not have to go very far into the

 housing.


 (b)  
Move the wire to make it touch all the sides of the hole.

 (c)  
Remove the wire.


 S 412-082 CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU LATCH THE FAIRING DOORS ON THE TRAILING EDGE
_______ CORRECTLY. DAMAGE CAN OCCUR IF THE DOORS OPEN DURING A FLIGHT.
 (4)  Close the fairing doors on the trailing edge of the applicable strut (AMM 54-62-00/201).

 ACCELERATION CONTROL UNIT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure contains the tasks to remove and install the acceleration control unit. The installation task also contains a test of the control unit installation.
 B.  The acceleration control unit is in the aft nacelle strut. The control unit is attached to the forward side of the turbine drive on the air-driven pump (ADP). Before you remove the control unit, you must remove the ADP turbine drive.
 C.  You can get access to the acceleration control unit through the fairing doors on the trailing edge of the strut.

 S 014-002
 (1)  
Open the fairing doors on the trailing edge of the strut (AMM 54-62-00/201).

 (2)  
Remove the ADP turbine drive (AMM 29-11-08/401).

 (3)  
Remove the acceleration control unit:

 (a)  
Disconnect the pressure tube for the control air from the acceleration control unit.

 (b)  
Install a cap on the tube to prevent contamination.

 (c)  
Remove the three nuts, the bolts, the washers, and the bushings from the acceleration control unit.

 (d)  
Remove the acceleration control unit from the mounting bracket on the turbine drive.
