1. General________
A. This subject has one task. This task is an operational test of the air driven pump. It also has an alternate procedure of this task, which uses Dry-Motoring of the engine to test the ADP, in place of using a Hydraulic Ground Cart.
B. It is not necessary to pressurize the reservoir for this test.

WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL THE
FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES, BEFORE YOU OPEN THE FLIGHT CONTROL
SHUTOFF VALVES. THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES CAN MOVE QUICKLY
WHEN YOU OPEN THE FLIGHT CONTROL SHUTOFF VALVES. THIS CAN
CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(3) Put the eight WING and TAIL FLT CONTROL SHUTOFF switches, for the hydraulic systems 1 thru 4, to the ON position.
NOTE: These switches are on the P461 panel.

Disconnect the pressure hose from the engine-driven pump (EDP) in the applicable hydraulic system (AMM 29-11-05/401).
