Disconnect the supply hose (5), the pressure hose (6), and the case drain hose (4).


 NOTE: The supply hose is the largest hose and the case
____ drain hose is the smallest.
 1) Install caps on the hose to prevent contamination.
 (c)  Disconnect the drain tube (2) for the shaft seal.

Remove the air-driven pump (1) (ADP):

 (a)  
Loosen, but do not remove, the nuts (3).

 (b)  
Turn the ADP (1) clockwise to release the mounting flange from the nuts (3).

 (c)  
Lower the ADP (1) to release the drive shaft from the turbine drive and remove the pump.

 (d)  
Remove the packing (7) from the ADP drive shaft. 1) Discard the packing.

If the ADP is to be replaced with a new pump, remove these parts:

 (a)  
The adapter (14), the packing (15), the backup ring (16), and the packing (17) from the pressure port 1) Discard the packings.

 (b)  
The union (12) and the packing (13) from the supply port 1) Discard the packing.

 (c)  
The adapter (8), the packing (9), the backup ring (11), and the packing (10) from the case drain port. 1) Discard the packings.

 Install caps on the ADP (1) ports to prevent contamination.

 If you replace the ADP for one of the conditions which follow, do the procedure which is necessary to flush the system or replace the filters (AMM 29-11-00/201).

 (a)  
Mechanical failure

Leakage at the shaft or housing seal.

 (c)  
The EDP became too hot.
