_______ PROCEDURE TELLS YOU TO OPERATE. KEEP THE TEST TIME TO A MINIMUM. MONITOR THE FLUID LEVEL IN THE HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR CONTINUOUSLY. BECAUSE THE HYDRAULIC FLUID CAN NOT GO BACK TO THE HYDRAULIC SERVICE CART, THE HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR CAN BECOME TOO FULL.

Set the hydraulic service cart to pressurize the applicable hydraulic system to 2950 to 3050 psig, with a flow rate of 5 gpm.

(19) Slowly decrease the pressure from the hydraulic test bench to 1350 psig.

CAUTION: DO NOT OPERATE THE DEMAND PUMPS FOR MORE THAN FIFTEEN MINUTES
_______ WHEN THE FUEL TANKS ARE EMPTY. THE HEAT EXCHANGERS IN THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM USE THE FUEL TO REMOVE THE HEAT FROM THE HYDRAULIC FLUID. THE HYDRAULIC FLUID TEMPERATURE, ON THE EICAS STATUS DISPLAY, MUST NOT BECOME MORE THAN 212° F (100° C). IF THE HYDRAULIC FLUID BECOMES TOO HOT, THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE DEMAND PUMP.
