 B.  The pressure transmitters measure system pressure from a location that is downstream of the pressure module. Electrical power for the transmitters is supplied by the 28 volt ac power bus.
Pressure Indication (Fig. 2)

 A.  The hydraulic system pressure is shown on the primary EICAS page and the EICAS HYD synoptic page. The actual values are shown by digital displays.
 B.  Each hydraulic system has an amber SYS FAULT light that will go on if the system pressure decreases below 1,200 psi for more than two seconds. The amber master WARNING and CAUTION light on the pilots' lightshield will go on and the aural warning will be heard. The SYS FAULT condition continues until the system pressure increases above 1300 psi.

 A.  Functional Description
 (1)  
The pressure transmitters send pressure signals to the hydraulic interface module (HYDIM). The HYDIM sends the signals to the EICAS interface unit (EIU), demand pumps, and the hydraulic control module. The EIU then sends the signals to the primary EICAS page, the EICAS HYD page, and the central maintenance computer system (CMCS).

 (2)  
If the hydraulic system pressure decreases below 1,200 psi, the SYS FAULT light will go on. It will also cause a caution message to come into view. HYD PRESS SYS 1,2,3, or 4 will be shown on the auxiliary EICAS display.

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure has two tasks. The first task is an operational test of the low pressure lights for the hydraulic demand pumps. The second task is a system test of the indicating system for the hydraulic pressure.
