Install the hydraulic pump ELCU:
(a)
Install the ELCU in the power panel and align the screw holes.

(b) (c) Install the four mounting screws. 1) Tighten the screws.Remove the six terminal nuts and washers from the terminal studs on the ELCU.
CAUTION:_______ MAKE SURE EACH TERMINAL WIRE IS CONNECTED TO THE CORRECT TERMINAL STUD ON THE ELCU. AN INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE A CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION AND DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
MAKE SURE THE WASHERS ARE INSTALLED BETWEEN THE TERMINAL NUT AND THE WIRE. DO NOT INSTALL THE WASHERS BELOW THE WIRES. THIS WILL CAUSE A HIGH RESISTANCE WHICH CAN CAUSE HEAT DAMAGE TO THE ELCU TERMINALS.
(d) (e) (f) Connect the six terminal wires to their correct terminal studs on the ELCU.Install the six terminal nuts and the washers. 1) Tighten the nuts to between 115 and 125 Pound-Inches.Connect the applicable electrical connector (DM3370 or DM3371) to the ELCU.
(2) S 414-016Close the applicable panel (P515 or P614) door.
(3) S 864-017Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the BATTERY switch on the P5 panel.
(4) S 864-018Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(5) S 714-024Do a test of the ACMP operation: (a) Pressurize the applicable hydraulic system with the applicable ACMP (AMM 29-11-00/201). (b) Push the HYD button on the EICAS display select panel.

Make sure the pressure for the applicable hydraulic system is between 2850-3200 psi.
(d)
Release the pressure in the hydraulic system
(AMM 29-11-00/201).

(6) Remove the electrical power if it is not necessary for other operations (AMM 24-22-00/201).

HEAT EXCHANGER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains the tasks to remove and install the heat
exchanger for the hydraulic system.
B. The heat exchanger is in the inboard aft corner of each of the four primary fuel tanks. It is necessary to go into the fuel tank to remove and install the heat exchanger. The hydraulic tube connections go through the rear wing spar.
C. On systems 1 and 4, get access to the tube connections through the access panel forward of the inboard aileron. On systems 2 and 3, get access to the tube connections through the applicable wheel well for the wing landing gear.
