Clean the mating surfaces of the hydraulic reservoir and the transmitter (1) to make a good electrical bond (AMM 20-22-01/601).

Lubricate the new O-ring (2) with hydraulic fluid.

Install the O-ring (2) in the groove at the bottom of the
transmitter (1).

CAUTION:_______INSTALL THE TRANSMITTER (1) CAREFULLY. IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE TRANSMITTER CAREFULLY, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE TRANSMITTER OR THE RESERVOIR.

Do these steps to install the transmitter (1):
(a)
Put the transmitter (1) in the opening in the hydraulic reservoir.

(b) Install the four washers (3) and the bolts (4).

(5) Measure the electrical resistance between the transmitter (1) and the hydraulic reservoir (AMM 20-22-01/601).
NOTE: This resistance must be less than 0.0025 ohms.

Connect the electrical connector (5) to the transmitter (1).

Put the drain valve, on the hydraulic reservoir, in the closed position.
