(5) S 035-006Disconnect the electrical connector from the temperature transmitter in the applicable hydraulic system.
NOTE:____ The temperature transmitter is installed on the case drain module.
(6) S 485-008Connect a variable resistor of 100 to 200 ohms across the pins 1 and 2 of the electrical connector.
(7) S 865-029Close the circuit breaker for the applicable hydraulic system: (a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel 1) 7F3 HYDIM 1

(8) S 865-031Slowly increase the resistance across the pins 1 and 2 of the electrical connector.
(9) S 975-030Make a record of the resistance at which the SYS FAULT light, for the applicable hydraulic system, comes on.

Make sure this resistance is 124 to 134 ohms.

Make sure the HYD TEMP indication, for the applicable hydraulic system, on the EICAS HYD display is 101-107 degrees.

Make sure the EICAS message, HYD OVHT SYS 1 ( 2, 3, or 4), shows on the EICAS display.

Slowly decrease the resistance between the pins 1 and 2 of the electrical connector.

Make a record of the resistance at which the SYS FAULT light, for the applicable hydraulic system, goes off.

Make sure this resistance is 111 to 121 ohms.

Make sure the HYD TEMP indication, for the applicable hydraulic system, on the EICAS HYD display is between 70-80 degrees.

(17) Make sure the EICAS message, HYD OVHT SYS 1 ( 2, 3, or 4), does not show on the EICAS display.

(18) Open the circuit breaker for the applicable hydraulic system:
(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7F3 HYDIM 1
2) 7G3 HYDIM 2
3) 7H3 HYDIM 3
4) 7J3 HYDIM 4

(19) Remove the variable resistor from the electrical connector.

(20) Connect the electrical connector to the temperature transmitter on the case drain module.

(21) Close these circuit breakers:
