E. Procedure

Lubricate all the fittings, the packings, and the backup rings with hydraulic fluid.

If a new module is to be installed, install the parts on the case drain module:
(a)
Install the adapter (1), the jam nut (2), the packing (3), the backup ring (4), and the packing (5) in ports A and B.
(b)
Install the adapter (33), the jam nut (2), the packing (3), the backup ring (4), and the packing (5) in the port OUT.
(c)
On systems 1, 2, and 3, install the plug (15) and the packing (16) in the AUX port.
(d)
On system 4, install the adapter (17), the jam nut (18), the packing (19), the backup ring (20), and the packing (21) in the AUX port.

Install the case drain module:
(a)
Remove the caps from the openings.
(b)
Install the case drain module with the bolts (30), the washers (31), and the nuts (32). 1) Tighten the bolts.
(c)
Connect the tubes to ports A, B, OUT, and on system 4, AUX.
(d)
Connect the electrical connector to the module.

Close the applicable HYDIM circuit breaker:
(a)
P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7F3 HYDIM 1
2) 7G3 HYDIM 2
3) 7H3 HYDIM 3
4) 7J3 HYDIM 4

Pressurize the hydraulic system with the EDP or the demand pump (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Examine the case drain module for leakage.
(a)
If you find leakage, repair the cause of it.

Look at the EICAS maintenance page for 29 HYD.
(a)
Make sure a HYD TEMP indication shows on the display for the applicable system.

(8) Release the pressure in the hydraulic system if it is not necessary for other operations (AMM 29-11-00/201).

CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU LATCH THE FAIRING DOORS ON THE TRAILING EDGE
_______ CORRECTLY. DAMAGE CAN OCCUR IF THE DOORS OPEN DURING A FLIGHT.
(9) Close the fairing doors on the trailing edge of the applicable strut (AMM 54-62-00/201).
