Open the doors on the trailing edge fairing (AMM 54-62-00/201).

Release the pressure in the hydraulic system (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Disconnect the pressure hose from the engine-driven pump (EDP) in the applicable hydraulic system (AMM 29-11-05/401).

(6) S 865-036Disconnect connector DM3108 or DM7202 (as applicable) from the fuel metering unit on the applicable engine (AMM 73-21-01/401).
(7) S 865-009Put the applicable HYD DEMAND PUMPS switch, on the overhead panel, P5, in the OFF position.
(8) S 215-010Make sure the PRESS light, for the applicable demand pump, is on.

CAUTION: OPERATE ONLY THE SYSTEMS WITH HYDRAULIC POWER WHICH THIS TEST
_______ PROCEDURE TELLS YOU TO OPERATE. KEEP THE TEST TIME TO A MINIMUM. MONITOR THE FLUID LEVEL IN THE HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR CONTINUOUSLY. BECAUSE THE HYDRAULIC FLUID CAN NOT GO BACK TO THE HYDRAULIC SERVICE CART, THE HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR CAN BECOME TOO FULL.

Set the hydraulic service cart to pressurize the applicable hydraulic system to 2950 to 3050 psig.

Make sure the hydraulic pressure indication, for the applicable system, on the EICAS display is between 2900 and 3150 psig.
