Lubricate the new packings and the threads of the fittings with hydraulic fluid.
(b)
Install the packings and the fittings in the return module.
(c)
Clean the module mounting surfaces for the electrical bond (AMM 20-22-01/601).
(d)
Put the return module on the mounting bracket.
(e)
Install the four mounting bolts.
1) Tighten the bolts.
2) Install lockwires on the bolts.
(f)
Install the retainer clamp on the module.
(g)
Connect the two hydraulic tubes to the module.

Pressurize the hydraulic system (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Examine the return module for leakage.
(a)
If you find leakage, repair the cause of it.

(4) Release the pressure in the hydraulic system if it is not necessary for other operations (AMM 29-11-00/201).

CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU LATCH THE FAIRING DOORS ON THE TRAILING EDGE
_______ CORRECTLY. DAMAGE CAN OCCUR IF THE DOORS OPEN DURING A FLIGHT.
(5) On systems 1 and 4, close the fairing doors on the trailing edge of the strut (AMM 54-62-00/201).

On hydraulic systems 1 and 4, open the fairing doors on the trailing edge of the strut (AMM 54-62-00/201).

On hydraulic systems 2 and 3, make sure the ground lockpins for the body gear are installed (AMM 09-11-00/201).

WARNING: MAKE SURE YOU RELEASE THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM PRESSURE BEFORE YOU

Release the pressure in the hydraulic system (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Remove the return filter element:
(a)
Remove the retainer clamp from the module.
CAUTION: DO NOT PRESSURIZE THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM WHILE THE FILTER IS
_______ REMOVED. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE MODULE OR THE CHECK VALVE.
(b) Remove the filter case and the filter element. 1) Discard the packings and the filter element.
