For hydraulic systems No. 1 and No. 4 only, do these steps:
(a)
Put the HYD PUMP DEMAND selector switch in the AUX position.
(b)
Make sure the AUX PUMP ON message shows on the EICAS SYNOPTIC display.
(c)
Put the HYD PUMPS DEMAND selector switch in the OFF position.

HYDRAULIC INTERFACE MODULE (HYDIM) - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks. The first task removes the hydraulic interface module (HYDIM). The second task installs the hydraulic interface module (HYDIM). The second task also contains a test procedure for the HYDIM.
B. The hydraulic interface module (HYDIM) is on the left side of the nose gear wheel well, in the main equipment center. The HYDIM has four circuit cards in the electrical systems card file, M7603. There is one circuit card for each hydraulic system.
C. The circuit cards are interchangeable between the hydraulic systems.

Make a selection of 29 HYDRAULICS from the shop faults menu.
(b)
Make a selection of HYDIM-1, HYDIM-2, HYDIM-3, or HYDIM-4 for the applicable hydraulic system.

Make a record of the shop faults which come into view.
