(1)
Lubricate the packing, the backup ring, and the component threads with hydraulic fluid.

(2)
Install the disconnect for ground service:
(a)
Remove the cap from the port.
(b)
Install the backup ring and the packing on the disconnect.
(c)
Install the disconnect in the pressure module.
1) On the pressure module of the Sterer type, Tighten the disconnect to 1440-1760 pound-inches (160-200 N.m).
2) On the pressure module of the Ronson/Hydraulic type, Tighten the disconnect to 450-550 pound-inches (50-62 N.m).

Pressurize the hydraulic system with a ground cart
(AMM 29-11-00/201).

Examine the disconnect for leakage.
(a)
If you find leakage, repair the cause of the leak.

(5) Release the pressure in the hydraulic system if it is not necessary (AMM 29-11-00/201).

CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU LATCH THE DOORS ON THE TRAILING EDGE FAIRING
_______ CORRECTLY. IF THE DOORS OPEN DURING A FLIGHT, THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE DOORS.
(6) Close the right door on the applicable trailing edge fairing (AMM 54-62-00/201).

ELECTRICAL COMPONENT ASSEMBLY - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains the tasks to remove and install the electrical component assembly. The installation task contains a test of the assembly installation.
B. The electrical component assembly is on the upper left side of the turbine drive for the air-driven pump. You can get access to the assembly through the left fairing door on the trailing edge of the strut.
