Lubricate all the packings and the component threads with hydraulic fluid.

Install the filter element for the case drain:
(a)
Install the packing (25) on the magnetic plug (26).
(b)
Install the magnetic plug (26) in the case. 1) Install a lockwire on the magnetic plug.
(c)
Install the packing (28) in the groove in the upper surface of the filter element (27).
(d)
Install the filter element (27) on the fitting in the module.
(e)
Install the filter case (22).

(f) Hand tighten the case (22) and install a lockwire.

Pressurize the hydraulic system with the EDP or the DEMAND pump (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Examine the case drain module for leakage.
(a)
If you find leakage, repair the cause of it.

(5) Release the pressure in the hydraulic system if it is not necessary for other operations (AMM 29-11-00/201).

CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU LATCH THE FAIRING DOORS ON THE TRAILING EDGE
_______ CORRECTLY. DAMAGE CAN OCCUR IF THE DOORS OPEN DURING A FLIGHT.
(6) Close the fairing doors on the trailing edge of the applicable strut (AMM 54-62-00/201).
