Reservoir Fill Filter

 A.  The reservoir fill filter is installed between the hand pump and the selector valve. The filter prevents contamination of the system during ground filling. The filter is a noncleanable, nonbypass unit having a filter head, a filter bowl, and a 0.4 to 3 micron disposable element.

 A.  Functional Description
 (1)  The hydraulic ground servicing system is used for filling the hydraulic reservoirs from one location. Two modes of servicing are provided: manual fill mode, with flow from a container of hydraulic fluid using the hand pump; or pressure fill mode, with flow from a ground servicing cart, that gives both fluid supply and pressure through the fill connection. The selector valve is used to select the reservoir to be filled, and the switch contained in the valve connects the fill indicator into the respective quantity indicating system circuit.

 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (1)  Do this task: Body Landing Gear Door Lock Installation (AMM 32-00-30/201).

 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY INSTALL THE GROUND LOCKS IN ALL LANDING
_______ GEAR. AN ACCIDENTAL RETRACTION OF THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)
Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

 (3)
Disconnect the fill hose and the outlet tube from the hand pump.

 (4)
Remove the two bolts which attach the hand pump to the bracket.
